1)1 NEDIN CITY COUNCIL [ Per Press Association. 1 DUNEDIN, Feb. 23. A poll of ratepayers taken to-day resulted in approval being given to proposals of the Dunedin City Council to raise £lOO,OOO for public works in the city and £50,000 for special water works. The voting on the public works loan was 5 For 4007 Against 3279 On the water works project the voting was:— For 4124 Against 3166 Only 7350 voted out of a roll of 21.990 ratepayers.
