There Are Two Legions. It is not generally known that there are two Frontiersmen’s organisations represented in Wanganui. Both were on parade last night to assist with the city’s physical fitness display. The New Zealand Legion of Frontiersmen assisted Colonel F. K. Turnbull marshal the procession. On Cook’s Gardens the British Corps of Frontiersmen were on duty in charge of Colonel W. S. McCrorie. “Diggers” At Bowls. So successful was the Returned Soldiers’ bowling tournament last year that it is to be played again this season. Saturday, March 4, has been chosen as the date and the promoters are to again have the co-operation of the St. John’s Bowling Club.
