PRIMARY SCHOOLS
ANNUAL CARNIVAL RESULTS OF FINALS Keen competition marked the finals of the Wanganui Primary Schools’ Swimming and Life-saving Association’s annual carnival, which were decided under ideal conditions at the Intermediate School baths yesterday. A pleasing feature of the carnival was the capable manner in which the full programme of more than 50 events was put through. Results were as follows, the respective schools being designated thus: W.E., Wanganui East; A, Aramoho; D.H., Durie Hill; I, Intermediate; M, Marist; K.S., Keith Street; S.J., St. John’s Hill; Q.P., Queen’s Park; G, Gonville; C, Castlecliff; T, Tawhero; S.A., St. Anthony's.
