VERDICT FOR DEFENDANT
BREACH OF PROMISE CASE ( Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. A verdict lor delendant was returned by the jury in the Supreme Court in Wellington which heard a claim by Dorothy Ailsa May Stewart, ot Wellington, against Robertson Frederick Meadows, company manager, Wellington, for £5OO damages for alleged breach of promise to marry. The jury was in retirement for 55 minutes. The hearing occupied two days and concluded this afternoon.
