APPEAL LIKELY SENTENCE FOR DIAL VOTING NEW PLYMOUTH CASE [ Per Press Association. J NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 22. It is understood that consideration is being given to the question ol lodging an appeal againsv t..e sentence of six months’ imprisonment imposed on Percy /.l len by Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court for the offence of personation and dual voting at the general election. It was shown in the Lower Court hearing that Allen voted at two booths and also that he had been drinking heavily before the day of the election and on the morning of the election. At the preliminary hearing Allen pleaded not guilty and w:.s committed for trial. Before the opening of the Supreme Court Allen intimated his desire to plead guilty and was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. Counsel for Allen, M?. 1. W. B.
