WAVERLEY WEDDING
McDonald—Patrick In St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Waverley, the wedding took place of Elizabeth May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Patrick, Waverley, and James Little, eldest son of Mr. J. L. McDonald and the late Mrs. McDonald, of Cliff Road, Marton. The Rev. Ross was the officiating minister and Miss L. Walker played the wedding music. The bride entered the church with her father, wearing a model trained gown of white satin and lace cut on slim-fitting lines, her tulle veil falling from a circlet of orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of cream roses, pale pink gladioli and maiden hair fern. The two bridal attendants were Mrs. H. MacDougall as matron of honour (sister of the bride) and Miss Nancy McDonald as bridesmaid, their frocks being of pale green georgette. Circlets of apricot and blue flowers with pale apricot eye veils were worn on the hair, their bouquets being of cream roses, apricot gladioli and maidenhair fern.
Mr. T. E. McDonald, Hunterville, brother of the bridegroom, carried out the duties of best man and Mr. E. Parkinson was groomsman.
The reception was held at the bride’s home. Mrs. Patrick wore a brown marocain frock with hat to match and carried a posy of autumntinted flowers and fern, while Mrs. S, Smith, the bridegroom's sister, wore a navy frock and hat and carried a posy of red tinted flowers. When the bride and groom left by car for New Plymouth Mrs. McDonald wore a blue silk frock with matching accessories. Their future home will be in Waver-
