OHAKEA Mr. and Mrs. L. Koberstein and family have returned from a holiday at Manawatu Heads. Miss N. Masters has returned home after visiting relatives in Morere and Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. R. Keat and family, of Hunterville, have returned home after spending a fortnight’s holiday with Mr. and Mrs. G. Ellery. Messrs. L. Simpson, R. Simpson, and A. Young have returned home from a camping tour of Taupo, Rotorua and Taurangi districts. PATEA Mrs. G. J. Broker is holidaying in Auckland. Mrs. Ray Hughes and Miss Lorna Hughes have returned from Dannevirke. Mrs. Rex Campbell and her two small daughters have returned home to Tangiwha. Mrs. Cook, who has been holidaying in the South Island, has returned ‘o Patea accompanied by her sister, Miss Ensor, and they will be guests of Rev. and Mrs. W. H. Walton, at the Vicarage. Miss E. Wheldon. of the nursing staff of the Patea Hospital, has left to join the staff of the Tauranga Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. R. Sargent have taken up residence at Manutahi. Moore, who severed his connection with the Patea Freezing Co. cn Saturday was the recipient of a handsome presentation from his fellow workers, including a silver tea service, pipes and pouch. TAIHAPE Mr. Albert Ernest Rowley, the Taihape engine driver who was injured in 4 railway accident near Hunterville. early on Saturday morning, had not regained consciousness at noon yesterday (Monday). Mr. and Mrs. C. Gordon, of Taihape, left on Saturday on a motor tour of the North Island. RANGIWAHIA Constable R. Hodge has returned to his home in Taumarunui after spending a few days with his parents, at Rangiwahia. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Jewell are holidaying at Paraparaumu.
