Victor McLaglen is seen in one of his most tempestuous roles to date, in Universal’s powerful drama “The Devil’s Party,” screening at the Duchess Theatre to-night. This picture delineates the life history of five youngsters after they omerge f?om one of the toughest districts in New York. Standing out as feminine member of the cast is Beatrice Roberts. This former Ziegfeld Follies beauty has the role of "Helen McCoy,” lovely night club singer. Two of Hollywood’s leading comedians, Frank Jer&s and Dave Oliver have important assignments to relax the tenseness of the dramatic scenes.
