THE HOLDERNESS SEAT Received Feb. 17, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 16. The Holderness by-election owing to the death of Sir S. Saverington Savery resulted:— Mr. Braithwaite (Conservative) 17,742 Miss A. MacKinnon (Liberal) 11,590 Mr. J. Z. Schultz (Labour) 9,629 Mr. Constable (Independent Conservative) 6,103 At the 1935 General Election, Sir Servington Savery held his seat with 22,249 votes, Miss MacKinnon polling 10,348, and Mr. Schultz 8906.
