REDUCED BRITISH TURNOVER Received Feb. 17, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 17. British firm lost Russian orders to the value of two and a-half millions sterling in 1938 Because they were overburdened by armament orders, according to the report of the Soviet Trade Delegation. Orders that could not be executed included £1,000,000 worth of shipping equipment and £400,000 of macnine tools. Total imports from Russia were £18,591,000, as (. .npared with £28,208,000 In 1937. The reduction of t'kHW is attributed mainly to lower prices' for timber, grain, lurs, platinum, etc.

IJURMESE CABINET VOTE IN BOTH CHAMBERS RANGOON, Feb. 16. The House of Representatives passed a vote of no-conlidence in the Government by 70 votes to 37. The Senate passed a similar noconfidence vote last night.
Protesting against the new Coalition Government, demonstrators burnt effigies of the Prime Minister, Dr. Bawmaw, amid the din of beating tin pans and kettles. Black flags were flown from buildings and motor-cars. The city was placarded “Down with the Coalition."

RANGOON, Feb. 16. The Pfime Minister, Dr. Bawmaw has resigned.
