WANGANUI FEDERATION EXECUTIVE MEETING At a meeting of the executive comm'ttee °f the Wanganui Federation held this week Mrs. Shanks presided members present being Mesdames Gray, Gordon, Lynch, Williams, Glasgow, Stillborn, Denman and Miss Edith Smith. Apologies were received from Mrs. West and Miss Bankier You.ng, voluntary organiser. Various reports and correspondence were dealt with. The annual council meeting will be held at Wanganui in the Savage Club Hall on April 26, when Miss AmyKane, Dominion president, will be present and will address the meeting. Competition will be for a gift article, value not to exceed 2s 6d, and a decorated bowl of mixed flowers and foliage, height over all not to exceed 18 inches. It is hoped that all institutes in the federation will be well represented in competitions and reports. Mrs. Shanks, member of the Dominion Council of Institutes, will attend the meeting to be held in Wellington, beginning on March 1.
