QUESTION OF TRAINING LABOUR ( Fer Prcas Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. A decision to confer with the Minister of Labour, Hon. P. C. Webb, about ways of absorbing and training adult male labour in industry was made by the New Zealand Footwear Manufacturers’ Association at the annual conference. It was agreed to co-operate to the fullest extent with the Minister In the matter. It was reported that it was now possible to assure workers steady employment throughout the year.
