COMMITTEE MEETS 'Own Correspondent'. RAETIHI, Feb. 16. A meeting of the executive of the [ Ruapehu Primary Schools’ Sports Association was held at Ohakune, ■ when the following decisions were arrived at— Annual Meeting.—The annual meeting of the association will be held al. Ihe Raetihi School on Tuesday, February 21, at 3.45 p.m. Swimming Sports. - - The annual sports will be held at the Raetihi baths on Friday, February 24, at 1 p.m. The following programme was agreed to:— Seniors. Freestyle 50yds., breaststroke 25yds., backstroke 25yds; div- ‘ ing. Juniors.—Freestyle 25yds., breaststroke 25yds., backstroke 25yds.; diving. Inter-school relay, towing event (one width). Cricket and baseball-rounders.- - The following draw was agreed to for the first round: February 17, Raetihi v. Ohakune, at Raetihi; Convent v. Rangataud, at Ohakune. March 13, Raetihi v. Rangataua, at Rangataua; Convent v. Ohakune, at Ohakune. March 10, Convent v. Raetihi, at Raetihi; Rangataua v. Ohakune, at Ohakune.
