GREAT OIL FIRE
RUMANIAN TOWN THREATENED ERUPTION DURING DRILLING OPERATIONS BUCHAREST, Feb. 13. Seventy thousand tons of burning crude oil are threatening 80,000 inhabitants of the Rumanian town of Ploesci. A huge eruption occurred during drilling operations and flowed to within a mile of the city, where it caught fire.
