FURTHER CLASHES OCCUR DEATHS NOW NUMBER 40 Received Feb. 14, 5.5 p.m. CAWNPORE, Feb. 13. It is now estimated that 40 were killed and 400 wounded in the HinduMoslem rioting which broke out when Moslems objected to Hindus playing music outside a mosque. Six hundred were arrested during the week-end rioting and further clashes occurred this morning. Four cases of arson are reported. Business is at a standstill. A curfew has been enforced and the military authorities have been ordered to shoot without a permit.
