COMPLETION DELAYED
NEW AMERICAN DESTROYERS DEFECTS IN TURBINES WASHINGTON, Feb. 13. The completion of 18 of the navy’s newest destroyers have been delayed due to the discovery of engineering defects in the turbines. The contractor instead of the Government is bearing the cost, but it means many months’ delay.
