SYDNEY PRODUCE MARKET
SLUMP IN VEGETABLES SYDNEY, Feb. 13. The Sun says that the prices of some vegetables crashed at the Sydney market to-day resulting in best beans and peas retailing at 6d per lb. Carrots and swedes also slumped to half of last week’s price. Potatoes dropped from £25 to £2l per ton.
