MR. GEO. SOUTHERWOOD'S SALE, TO-DAY Messrs. Sharpe, North and Co. will sell in their rooms to-day (Wednesday), on account of Mr. Geo. Southerwood, a useful line of furniture and effects. Full list will be found in our auction columns. Fruit, produce, poultry, and corrugated iron will be sold at 1 o’clock. JOHN COULL’S WEDNESDAY SALES John Coull will sell at his sale rooms, Maria Place, at 1 p.m. to-day (Wednesday), meat, live and dressed poultry, all vegetables, peas, potatoes, all seasonal fruit, sliced bacon, smoked fish, honey, cut flowers, etc. WEEK-END EXCURSION In our advertising columns in this issue will be found particulars of a week-end excursion from New Plymouth, Waitara, and Wanganui to Wellington on February 24 to 27. The special trains have been arranged so that excursionists will lose as little time as possible from business and at the same time enjoy a long week-end in the capital city. Special week-end fares have been arranged and, given fine weather, this excursion should prove very popular.
