WOODVILLE RACES
THE AUTUMN MEETING BRACKETS ON TOTAEISATOR The Woodville District Jockey Club's meetings, to be held on Friday and Saturday of this week, will claim a good deal of attention as the form will have some bearing on the autumn meeting ot the Wanganui Jockey Club's fixture on Thursday and Saturday of next week. As Woodville is just under 60 miles from Wanganui a number of keen followers of form will bbe found attending the fixture. The first event each day is to start at 12 noon, and betting will be on the single-pool system. A slight alteration has been made in the order of the programme. The concluding event, the Kumeroa Hack Handicap, run over ten furlongs, attracted only six acceptors, and it was decided to make this the seventh race, running the County Handicap as the last race on the opening day. In the field of seventeen for the Sapling Stakes, the race for two- \ ear-olds, there will be two brackets. Gayest Son. Sunola and Flying Flag will form a triple bracket, and Social Credit and Lively Lady will also be bracketed. In the County Handicap Jacynth and Imogen will be coupled on the totalisator.
