In accordance with what is described as the usual practice the crew were discharging passenger luggage, it being the duty of the waterside workers to take delivery on the wharf When objection was raised to Lascar hatchmen the waterside workers were promptly put off. It is stated that union labour regularly performs duties - with crews of any nationality or race in similar circumstances.
