WELCOME TO NEW MINISTER AT BULLS

(Own Correspondent). BULLS, Feb. 12. The Rev. R. Crocket, who has been appointed as supply to the Presbyterian Church in Bulls, was welcomed at the church on Friday evening. The first part of the evening took the form of a service conducted by the moderator of Bulls, the Rev. T. H. Burton, and with him were associated members of the session and representatives of the Presbytery. In " his address, the moderator emphasised the features of a minister's work as a man of God aiul the conditions necessary for his work which a congregation could help to set up. At the social hour which followed, the Rev. R. and Mrs. Crocket were introduced to the members of the congregation. The moderator pointed out that Mr. Crocket had just concluded a long and happy pastorate at Seddon from which he was compelled to resign for family reasons. The people were fortunate in securing the services of such an experienced man who also had such an able helpmate in Mrs. Crocket. Words of welcome were spoken also by Mr. A. R. Hadfield. session clerk, and the Rev. C. W. Watt on behalf of the Presbytery.
