Revaluation of County. Advice that the revaluation of the tounty had progressed to such a ftage when it could be stated that the new valuations would be available for the ensuing rating year except in the Mangawhero and Morikau Ridings was received from the Valuer-General at yesterday’s meeting of the Wanganui County Council. “As I understand that the system of having separate riding accounts is in operation, I preiume no hardship will fall on the Mangawhero and Morikau ratepayers tf the rates for the next year are levied on the existing valuations in these ridings.” The clerk, Mr. G. Darbyshire, reported that he had advised the Valuer-General that unless the whole of the new valuations came nto force at the same time there pyuld be hardship created.
