Hospital Board Finance The statement that the Rangitikei County Council was paying £12,000 a year to the Wanganui Hospital Board for which ratepayers considered they were not getting full value was made by a delegate at the annual conference of the New Zealand Hospital Boards’ Association at New Plymouth, when the incidence of hospital taxation was under consideration. A remit from South Otago urging that the incidence of taxation for hospital finance should be revised so that the burden fell more equitably on the community was carried, the country delegates appealing for greater consideration of the rural ratepayer*-.
