Week-end Picnics. With settled weather apparently certain, it is expected that several Irtrge picnics to be held during the week-end will be generously attended. The Aramoho School picnic will be held to-day on grounds kindly lent for the occasion by Mr. W. H. Reid at Nukumaru. To-morrow the Post and Telegraph staff picnic will be held upriver at Tekorito, upwards of 400 making the trip by river steamer. The Cosmopolitan Club picnic will be held at the Marton racecourse, the party travelling by special train to Marton Junction.
