(From Our Own Correspondents.) PATEA Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Corbett and Master Terry Corbett, are holidaying at Tauranga. Mr. and Mrs. J. Anderson are holidaying at Coromandel. Miss Baldwin, Hawera, has been the guest of Mrs. N. Coad. Miss Ruby Coad is visiting Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Craig and Misses P. and S. Craig have returned to Wellington after visiting Mrs. H. J. Hall. Mr. E. W. Harris is visiting his daughter, Mrs. E. F. Hammonds, Christchurch. Mr. Elliott, Department of Dental Hygiene, made an inspection of the local clinic on Tuesday. Mr. C. R. Honeyfield, chairman of the Patea Hospital Board, is a delegate to the conference of Taranaki hospital boards being held at New Plymouth. Mr. W. Lacey, Patea, recently had his A flying liceoice endorsed, enabling him to carry passengers. Among the guests at the Sargent-

Craig and Misses Shirley and Pauline Craig (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. B. Dawes and Miss Dawes (Wanganui). Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Sargent (Wellington >. MARTON Mr. E. B. Gordon, M.P., and Mrs. Gordon returned home yesterday after a visit to Wellington, where Mr. Gordon attended the National Party's caucus. WAVERLEY Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Dallison, Christchurch, are the guests of Mrs. E. C. Dallison. Mr. and Mrs. C. Hodgson are spending a fortnight's holiday at New Plymouth. Mrs. S. Carter, Te Aroha, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Walkinton, "Belmont," for the Walkinton—Parsons wedding. TAIHAPE Mr. and Mrs. G. Naylor leave by the express this evening on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mr. Ormond Wilson, ex-M.P. for Rangitikei, is leaving New Zealand shortly on a trip abroad. Mr. and Mrs. H. Johnston are absent from Taihape on holiday. Mr. R. W. Culpitt, manager of St. James' Theatre, Westport, who has been on a brief visit to the Taihape district, left for home this morning, while in Taihape Mr. Culpitt was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Meekings. He and Mrs. Culpitt also stayed with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. McKnight, of Ohingaiti.
