ST. JOHN AMBULANCE PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED. On Tuesday night at the annual meeting of the Wanganui Division of St. John Ambulance Assistant Commisioner W. Bourne, on behalf of the district officers, presented to the division a framed "Record Sheet.” This record is the orginal one of the formation of the Wanganui Division of St. John Order in this city in 1909. Mr. John Brine was organiser and founder of the division and received his warrant in 1909 from St. John’s Gate, London. The following are the names appearing on this historical document: — A. Coneybeer, S. R. Armstrong, W. R. Morgan, B. Roberts, G. Sutherland, S. Westbrook, J. D. Markham, E. Kirby, A. Arthur-Worsop, J. Chapman, J. Percival, F. Campbell, F. Gower, W. Heavir, L. Bruce, W. Bruce, N. Bevegen, M. Turner, J. Robinson, J. Duncan, W. Mailman, C. State, Chris. Aitken. A number of these men have since died and several made the -supreme sacrifice in the Great War. New Appointments. The following appointments have been confirmed by Chief Commissioner W. Bourne (assistant commissioner), A. E. Allpress (district superintendent), G. Scott (corps officer. Cadet purposes), H. A. Reardon (staff sergeant). Cadet Superintendent A. J. Ralph wishes to remind all members of the Wanganui Cadet Division that the first parade of the New Year will commence on Monday night next.
