DEATH OF ARDCHOILLE , SOUTHLAND CUP WINNER [ Pei Press Ns^ociation.J DUNEDIN, Feb. 9. Ardchoille dropped dead when exercising on the Wingatui track this morning.

Ardchoille was the last of the progeny of Glentruin, one of the best racing mares imported to the Dominion this century, and who died in 1932. Ardchoille, a chestnut gelding who was foaled in 1931, won his second successive Southland Cup on November 19 last. Ardchoille was by the imported Woodend, the sire of all three of Glentruin’s stock.
