BURGLING OF STORE. PROPRIETOR HEARS SOUND. I Per Presa Association. I NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 8. The resourcefulness displayed by the proprietor of a store at SentryHill and the quick response of the police at Waitara resulted in the speedy capture of an intruder in the act of burgling the store. Roused by an assistant just before midnight, Mr. K. C. Jury found the door of his store forced open and heard a sound inside. He roused a railway employee to set guard on the building and called the police resulting in the arrest of Archibald Andrew Charles Scott, aged 53, labourer, who ple.iled

guilty in the Waitara Court to-day, to entering a store with intent to commit a crime. He was committed in custody to the Supreme Court for sentence.
