RUGBY LEAGUE

VISIT ABANDONED SYDNEY, Feb. 9. The Balmain Rugby League Club has decided not to go on with the proposed visit to Auckland. It was stated that the Auckland authorities desired Balmain's strongest team, and as several players are not available it was thought by the Balmain committee that the scheme should be abandoned.
