STATE LOTTERIES FOR HOSPITALS f Per Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 9. State lotteries as a means of financing hospitals was not favoured by the hospital boards conference. The opinion was expressed that besides being unstable that method of finance would encourage the gambling spirit and that would be most undesirable. Mangonui and Buller remits on the subject were lost.
