HERD TESTING
MANAWATU ASSOCIATION RESULTS. JANUARY RESULTS, 1939. The Manawatu Co-operative Herd Testing Association reports upon testing carried out locally during January as follows:
The highest group in the association was that o£ Raumai, wherein 160 cows averaged 7681 b. milk and 391 b. fat. The highest herds in the local groups were as follows:
The highest herd in the association was one in the Raetihi group, wherein 11 cows averaged 9391 b. milk and 491 b. fat.
The highest cow in the association was one in the Shannon group, which produced 12601 b. milk, 7.0 test and 881 b. fat. The association tested in all 14,798 cows, the average cow producing 7141 b. milk, 48 test, and 341 b. fat.
