RAETIHI WEDDING

FAGG—INNES A wedding of wide interest to Raetihi took place recently al St. James' Church, Lower Hutt, when Beryl Howard, third daughter of Mrs. Innes and the late Mr. E. S. Innes, was married to the Rev. T. F. Fagg, only son of Mr. T. S. Fagg, Raetini, ano the late Mrs. Fagg. fine Rev. li E. K. Fry officiated and the service was fully choral. Miss B. S. Harte was at the organ. The church was beautifully decorated by members of the Bible Class. The brine, who was preceded by the choir as she entered tne church, was escorted by her uncle, Mr. W. Flanagan. She wore a gown of ivory l».cc over taffetas of a deeper shade, mauc with long fitting sleeves pointed over tile wrists, and with a cowl effect at the shoulder. The bodice was also cowled in front, and the slim-fitting high-waisted skirt came to a V in front. Her ivory tulle veil, which was lent by a friend, was held in place with a coronet of pearls, and she carried a sheath of litum auratum. The bride's sister, Miss Audrey Innes, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Nancy Fagg, Raetihi, were bridesmaids. They were gowned alike in graceful frocks of reseda green crnikled georgette over satin of a deeper shade, and made with crossover bodices, the necklines being finished with loops and the backs witli buttons. The snort puff sleeves were daintily ruched. They wore halos ol autumn-tinted gladioli and carried toning bouquets. Mr. C. Innes was the best man and Mr. N. Fagg, cousin of the bride-

groom, the groomsman. Mrs. Innes, who held a reception at her home, Bellevue Road, received the guests in a frock of heavy black lace finished with a sash of black silk velvet, reaching to the hemline, and a smart biack felt toque and fin shoulder cape. Her posy was of sweet sultans, cyclamen, giadioli and maidenhair fern. Mrs. B. Fagg, Raetihi, aunt of the bridegroom, who assisted Mrs. Innes, wore a frock of Fiusiaii-blue lacc with a matching hat, and a spray m cream carnations. Among the guests were Mrs. S. 11 Wood and Mrs. L. jv. riadicy, sistets of the bride; Mis. Flanagan ano Miss Webb, New Plymouth, aunts of the bride. When the Rev. T. r. and Mrs. r ugg lett later for the north the latter wore a striped silk frock and rnerniaiugreen coat with matching hat ano accessories.
