COAT FOUND

MISSING BOY AND GIRL The search for the missing youth Basil Rabe and the girl Hazel Fisher, who were swept out into the Firth of Thames in a small dinghy on Monday afternoon, was continued on Thursday, states the New Zealand Herald. The police were informed on the afternoon that a fisherman found the coat of Basil Rabe, with a cigarette case which had been presented to Rabe in the pocket. The coat was found imbedded in seaweed which the fisherman drew to the surface of the sea about half a mile out from the shore at Puru and about two miles nearer to Thames than Waiomio, where the dinghy was swept out to sea. In spite of a vigorous search there is no trace of the boy or the girl.
