BULLS PASTIMES
BOWLING RINK GOES TO MASTERTON
(Own Corespondent). BULLS, Feb. 6. Bulls Bowling Club sent one rink to Masterton on Saturday to represent the Manawatu Centre against Wairarapa. Playing on Masterton Park in perfect weather, the Bulls rink lost, 22-24 in the morning, and drew, 22-all, in the afternoon. At the conclusion of play members of both sides joined hands on the green and sang “Auld Lang Syne.” The Bulls rink comprised: Capstick, Amon, Walker, Drew. RIFLE SHOOTING Good weather conditions on Saturday afternoon resulted in fine scores being recorded by members of the Rangitikei Defence Rifle Club. A handicap championship shoot was held at 300 and 600 yards, and scores, handicaps and totals were as follow: H. Meads 50, 48, 0—98; K. W. Dalrymple 48, 46, 2-z— 96i; W. Rankin 48, 46, 2i—96i; J. Hammond 46, 48, 2—96; R. B. McKenzie 50, 45, 1—96; R. White 48, 43, 1—92.
