PATEA PERSONALS

(Own Correspondent) PATEA, Feb. 4. Miss Diana Roberts has returned to Palmerston North. Mrs. Ray Hutchison, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. D. Cameron, is visiting Wellington before returning to Hastings. Mrs. L. T. Adams is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. J. Jackson, Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. A. Dowthwaite, Wellington, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Carey. Mrs. H. Boagey was the guest of honour at a party arranged by her husband and daughter, Mrs. G. W. Corbett, on Saturday evening on the eve of her birthday. Enjoyable card games were played in the earlier evening and after supper several musical items were enjoyed. Mrs. Boagey was duly toasted and accorded musical honours.
