YOUTH’S DEATH
SPILL FROM MOTOR-C YCLE [ Per Press Association.] ASHBURTON, Feb, 3. Lpris Stanley Harper, aged 17, shop assistant, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Harper, died in hospital as the result of injuries suffered on Saturday. Harper was on a motor-cycle and was shot over the handle-bars when applying the brakes to avoid a collision with a motor-car in the borough. He struck the paved road with his head and shoulders.
