LAWN TENNIS
AUCKLAND TITLES PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT SENIOR FINALS TO-DAY. Heavy rain earlier in the week prevented play at. Auckland in the provincial lawn tennis tournament, and the management committee decided to postpone the playing of the senior championship finals till to-day. The four senior titles to be decided this afternoon are as follow: Men's Singles.—N. F. Bedford v. N. G. Sturt. Women's Singles.—Miss M. Beverley v. Miss E. Plummer. Men's Doubles.—N. F. Bedford and J. W. Gunn v. R. W. Smith and M. T. Wilson. Women's Doubles. —Misses B. L. Bishop and P. Cooke v. Misses N. and M. Beverley.
