RATA—PUTORINO BRANCH The January meeting of the above branch was held at Putorino School. Mrs. Harvey presiding over the following members: Mesdames Signal, Haywood, McNamara, S. Gibbs Ellery, Smith, Diehl, Downs, Grey, Pickford, Raine; Misses Gardiner, Cameron, M., J. and F. Raine. Apologies were received from Mrs. P Green, Mrs. J. Green and Mrs. A. Rhodes.

Arrangements were made for the garden parly to be held in conjunction with the Rata Plunket Society at Mrs. A. Rhodes’ residence on February 18. There are to be several stalls, also games and competitions. Alter the business had been dealt with, afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostesses, and the rest of afternoon the members played tennis.
