A GLASS FUTURE
HOUSE IN TEN YEARS’ TIME Kitchen experts held an exhibition recently to forecast suggestions that could not be in our hands for another ten years, but which they felt they ought to have in view, in spite of that, says a London writer. And the things which stood out were all of glass. Your kitchen will be built with glass walls. Glass bricks will let in far more liglit and will clean off in a moment. Your sink will have a splashboard
and surround of coloured, unbreakable glass, and your door will be glass, shutting out the view, but letting light into the passage.
Your pastry board and roller will, of course, be glass, and even the hood over your stove will be in glass, white or any colour you like.
