Voice, the Templeton skipper, and H. Kempthorn e. There is no record in Wisden’s of this feat ever having been performed previously. HAT TRICK RECORDS (To the Editor.) Sir. —A recent telegram from Christchurch refers to the very fine performance of two bowlers in a cricket match in the southern city on Saturday last each of whom did the “hat trick” in the same innings. The telegram also states that there is no record in Wisden of this feat ever having been peri formed previously. I refer your rend- | ers, however, to Wisden’s for 1908 at ! page 134 where it is recorded that A. iE. Trott by taking 4 wickets with suci cessive balls and later in the same innings 3 wickets with successive balls iin the match Middlesex v. Somerset (Trott’s benefit) accomplished the unprecedented feat of performing the hat : trick twice in an innings. This feat is i ali the more meritorious as it was performed in a first class match by one and the same bowler.—l am. etc.., V. B. WILLIS.
