And thorp he mutters on his perch, 4 ‘Don’t dare forget my seed!” When Tinkerbell goes shopping, It’s always just the same; But though by now we’re getting used To Polly’s little game — Each time that Tink brings back the seed. We watch to see the fun. And here old Polly’s screech of joy, 44 We1l done, my dear, well done!” DAFFY DILL. ■ A NEW GAME Some older readers will find it good fun to try to make up a little story such as this, each word commencing with the same letter. Of course any; letter in the alphabet can be ctioscn, but each letter must commence with that letter:— Alice ate apples. Archie asked | Alice, 44 Are Adam and Anne arriving?” i Alice ate another apple. 4 ‘Adam and Anne are arriving. Anne argues and ’ annoys Adam. Archie, ask Adam about i Alan’s arbour. Anne, an apple?” , Afterwards Alice, Archie, Anne and; Adam ate asparagus. Anne argued and Adam appeared angry, answering; antagonistically. Anxiously Alice at-' tempted arbitrage.
