Herr Cuna has a pension of £lOOO though he has also £15,000 as manager of a prosperous steamship line. Dr. Luther, in addition to a pension, receives £5OOO as Director of State Railways. Fifteen hundred ex-generals and a hundred ex-admirals share £2,000,000 per annum.
