CELEBRATES ITS BIRTHDAY. AN HONOUR FOE. NEWCASTLE. CROSS FROM UNKNOWN SOLDIER’S GRAVE. Received December 10, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 9. The Rev. Crotty, Dean of Newcastle, is leading the Australian delegation at the Toe H. birthday at Manchester on Saturday, at which he will receive from the hands of the Prince of Wales a cross from an unknown soldier’s grave in France, to be placed next to Forsters’ Lamp in the Warriors Chapel at Newcastle Cathedral.
