OVER A BANK
LORRY TAKES A PLUNGE DRIVER TAKEN TO HOSPITAL. (Per Press Association). WHANGAREI, Doc. 9. Alfred Alexander, aged 22, of Pakitai. was driving a motor truck when the steering gear locked and the truck fell twelve feet over a bank. Alexander was taken to Whangaroi Hospital, where it was found that his upper jaw and both nasal bones were broken.
