BRITISH MOTORS

THE DOMINION MARKETS DELEGATION COMING OUT PRIME MINISTERS’ MOVEMENTS LONDON, Dec. 7. The Rt. Hons. S. M. Bruce and J. G. Coates conferred at length in private with motor manufacturers. The trade decided to send at once a delegation to Australia and New Zealand to see things for themselves, with a view to meeting requirements in design. Mr Bruce has abandoned the idea of visiting Ireland on the eve of going to America being unable to fit in his sailing arrangements. It is understood that he is devoting the next week to conferring with business men relating to handling Australian butter dried and canned fruits ,which are subject to Control Boards with the object of acquainting himself with their points. It is also understood that Mr Bruce is considering plans for the reorganisation of Australia House drawn up by Sir Neville Howso and Lieut.-Com-mandcr Latham, but nothing revolutionary is likely to happen. A London messuage states that Sir Neville Howse, who was recently operated on for gallstones, is convalescing satisfactorily. He will probably not return to London for a fortnight, and will not accompany Mr. Bruce to America, returning to Australia via Suez.
