LATE REV. J. ENWRIGHT

THE FUNERAL SERVICES. The funeral of the late Rev. John Enright, formerly Father Andrew, of the Passionist -Order of the Roman Catholic Church, and lately minister of St. Enoch’s Presbyterian Church, Morningside, Auckland, took place :H Waikumotr Cemetery on Monday after noon. There whs a full attendance of the members of the Auckland Presby tery at tho funeral service at St. Enoch’s, the service being led by the moderator, the Rev. J. Lamb Harvey. He was assisted by the Revs. G. Budd and T. Hallisday. The Rev. I. Stebbins, president <>f the Council of Christian Congregations, land a personal friend of 16 years' standing, preached the memorial sermon. In tracing the life of the deceased, he said Mr Enright turned to the quiet and devout life by the very circumstances of his change, but had been forced to take the platform m Australia. Consequently he wtis thrown into the vortex of public life and this had taken its toll of his physique. His name in Australia was a household one, and his sunny, genial, chivalrous nature mbde affection for him easy. The service at tho graveside w-is read by the Rev. Evan R. Harris, moderator of the Morningside Church, the Rev. D. Scott assisting. The ser-" vice of tho Loyal Orange Lodge was read by the Rev. J. Olphert.
