GIPSY SMITH
EVANGELIST IN WANGANUI MISSION AT ST. PAUL'S Gipsy Smith, the famous ovangeli.-*. arrived in Wanganui yesterday aft'r noon, and will begin a mission in S’. Paul’s Church to-night. Ho was accompanied by Mr E. !•■ Young, his organist, and Mrs Young and the party was met, on arrival b the New Plymouth express, by th«' local organising committee, on who.-” behalf the Rev. John Paterson and th Rev. E. T. Cox extended a warm wel come to the visitors. The party - staying at Braeburn. Gipsy Smith declared that th Christchurch mission was the mos : successful conducted in Australasia He looks fresh and vigorous, and ilooking forward eagerly to the AV.i nganui campaign.
