HAMILTON, November 8. Tho fourteenth annual show ;of the Waikato A. and P. Association opened to-day. There was not a large attendance of the public. Entries are in excess of last year' by 100. The quality of the stock generally is superior to thei previous year. Championships were awarded as "follows:—Draughts;:, Stallions, W. Taylor's Ben McCormick; mares, W7 TayloVs Sylvia. Thoroughbred: Stallion, W. Taylor's Musketry. .Cattle: Shorthorn bull, W. Taylor; cow, W. Taylor's Idalia IV. Jersey bull, W. J. Hall's Sweat William; cow, Mrs. F. L. Wright's Fury. Ayrshire bull. W. J. Hall's Prince of Wales; cow, F. C.Litchfield's Spot 11. Holstein bull: T. Wood's; cow, W. T. Wood. Sheep: Lincoln, ram, C. T. Barriball; ewe, C. T. Barriball. English Leicester, ram, J. Taylor; ewe, J. M. McCarthy. Romney Marsh, ram, H. S. Hawkins; ewe, Walter Chitty. Shropshire, ram, Geo. Ballard; ewe, C. Day. Southdown, ram, JFreshfield estate; ewe, Department of Agriculture.
