HAWBRA, November 7. Mr Felix MoGuire, ex-M.H.R., delivered an address last night at. Hawera. He declared himself an Oppositionist and a supporter of the platform recently laid down 'by Mr Massey. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried.

GREYTOWN, 7. Mr Wi Pere, the (Maori member for the East Coa^b, addressed a crowded meeting at Papawai. Ho obtained a unanimous vote of confidence. It is anticipated that he will get a block vote of the Wairarapa natives. TIMARU, (November 7. Mr Flatman, M.H.R. for Ger'akKne, opened 'his political campaign la6t night at Temuka, when'he addi'essed a large meeting. He said if again returned he would continue <to support the Seddon administration. He received an attentive and appreciative heaTing, and was accorded a vote of tihanks and confidence as the future representative for the district. This was carried enthusiastically, as well as a vote of confidence in the present Government. CHRISTOHURCH, November 7. tMr O. F. Clothier is definitely announced as a candidate for th© Huruhui seat. He is an Oppositionist, a freeholder, and a prohibitionist. ' DUNEDIN, November 7. Mr E. G. Allen, member for Port Chalmei's, and a candidate for re-elec-tion, addressed a well-attended_ meeting at North East Valley this evening. Hie speech was in defence of the Government legislation and administration, and at the close a vote of thanks and confidence was adopted, those present pledging themselves to do everything to secure his return. '

On Saturday next, at 2.30 p.m., Mr J. R. Somm'erville' wjll addj-ess the electors of IMangannahu. The Hon. C. H. Mills, Ministea- of Trade and Customs, addressed a crowded meeting of his constituents at Blenheim last night. He was accoa'ded a vote of thanks and confidence.
