ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
' Per Press Association. OAMIARU, November 7. The police here received information yesterday that the body of a man named Adam Paul, -who'bad been missing from Kurow since October, 1904, had been, found in the Waitaki River, opposite the Otekaike Station. The body was observed by a schoolboy on Sunday evening, and was recovered yesterday. An inquest will be held. When Paul disappeared the police instituted a search ■with no result. At present it is not known how, or when, or why the man j got into the river. CHRISTOHUROH, November 7 An inquest was held this morning touching the death of a six-months-old ohild named Evelyn Wilkinson, who was found dead in 'bed at its parents' house, Sydeniham, oh Sunday morning. A verdict was returned that death was due to, suffocation, caused by the child being overlaid by its parents.
